
After studying medicine in Leipzig and Heidelberg-Mannheim, Christoph M. Woernle, MD, completed his further training at several Swiss clinics and has been a specialist (FMH) in neurosurgery since 2016.
His scientific career started already after his physicum with a dissertation in visceral surgery on the topic of neoadjuvant therapy in locally advanced rectal carcinoma. Since then, he has been particularly interested in clinical research on cerebrovascular disorders, brain tumors and degenerative spinal diseases. He has published numerous articles on these topics in recent years and, as a neurosurgeon, specializes in the conservative and surgical treatment of patients with these diseases.
